Spring Week

A 1-week insight programme at a bank or firm, typically for first-year students. The primary gateway into finance summer internships.

Vacation Scheme

A 2–4 week paid placement at a law firm. The primary route to securing a training contract at most top firms.

Training Contract

A two-year period of supervised work experience required to qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales.

Summer Internship

An 8–10 week placement, usually in your penultimate year. The main conversion route to a full-time graduate offer at most banks.
